This year Thanksgiving was fairly low-key for us. It was wonderful. We had our Thanksgiving day meal around lunchtime with JR’s family. It was mostly all prepared by my eighteen year old brother-in-law; he did a great job.
Gabriel and Joshua had a great time playing with Nana and Papa. Most of the adults spent some time studying the sale fliers (most stuff is not worth being away from home when I should be sleeping). We were home by 3:30, and just got to hang out as a family for the rest of the day.
Now that the boys are asleep, JR has gone shopping to (hopefully) grab a few items of interest with his family. I am blogging and waiting for sales to begin on a couple of websites. Black Friday online shopping has got to be better than in-store shopping. Right now I am blogging and checking email, while JR is standing in a super-crowded store, waiting for an employee to unleash the masses on the items that they are after. Since my cart is already loaded, I just need to finish checking out once the clock strikes twelve. Hopefully JR will be able to be home by one, he has to work in the morning.
